Stuart Wheeldon has been taking photos for the last thirty years, he concentrates on the Peak District and Derbyshire where he lives. He photographs in 35mm, Medium Format and Digital Format. He is especially inspired by the industrial landscapes which have shaped the current landscape, this includes quarrying, lead mining and farming. However street photography and portraits are a genre that have recently inspired Stuart. He is currently documenting the people and customers who inhabit The Royal Oak in Wirksworth. He hopes to exhibit this work in 2024.
